                 Enjoy with Andes Adventures one of the most spectacular trekking tours in the world!

This 23 day trekking tour to Mount Everest starting from the city of Kathmandu in Nepal will give you the "Grand Tour" of the famous Khumbu Sherpa Valley. This is an amazing, demanding trek leading up to the beautiful Gokyo Lakes on the left side of the moraine of the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal area. Mount Cho Oyu (8153 m) dominates the skyline to the north. From here and after crossing the awesome glacier we will climb to the steep Cho La pass at 5420 meters and then we emerge into the impressive Khumbu valley above Lobuje. Afterwards we head towards the famous Everest base camp!. An easy climb will take us to the summit of Mount Kala Patar (5545 m) from where we will enjoy (weather permiting) great views of the highest mountain in the world: Mount Everest !.

Our program:

Day1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Our tour lider will meet you at the airport and transfer you to
          your comfortable hotel.
Day2:Day to visit Kathmandu and enjoy the amazing millenarium culture of this country.
           Hotel accommodations.
Day3: Morning transfer to the airport and flight to Lukla. Start our first day trek to
          Phakding village at 2800 m.
Day4: Trekking towards the famous village of Namche Bazar.
Day5: Trek to the village of Khumjung.
Day6: Trekking towards the village of Phortse and then to Dole village.
Day7: Trekking towards Machermo at 4450 m.
Day8: Trekking towards the village of Gokyo from where we have get amazing views of
           the impressive Ngozumpa glacier and beautiful Mount Cho Oyo (8153 m).
Day9: Resting day in Gokyo.
Day10: Easy climb to the summit of Gokyo Ri (5357 m) to enjoy spectacular views of
            Everest, Makalu, Nuptse, Lhotse and Cho Oyu.
Day11: Trekking towards Chuygima Pass.
Day12: Climb Cho La pass and then descend to Dzongla village.
Day13: Trekking towards Lobuje at 4930 m.
Day14: Trekking along the left moraines of Khumbu glacier.
             Overnight in Gorak Shep.
Day15: Day trek to visit the famous Mount Everest Base Camp.
Day16: Day to rest or climb the easy Mount Kala Patar. Great views.
Day17: Trekking towards Dingboche village.
Day18: Trekking to Thyangboche village.
Day19: Trekking back to Namche Bazar.
Day20: Trekking to Phakding.
Day21: Trekking to Lukla.
Day22: Flight to Kathmandu. Hotel.
Day23: Transfer to the airport in Kathmandu. Flight out !.
