Andes Adventures runs one of the most successful Mountaineering School in South America. Our teaching staff is composed by professional mountain guides with a long practical experience on teaching those individuals who want to learn the basics and advanced skills and technics in the climbing world. Our instructors have a practical and theorical experience obtained in Europe and USA as well as during several expeditions developed on the high mountains of South America, Europe and on the Himalayas. We offer the following basic and advanced courses developed on the mountains and volcanoes of Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia: -Basic Trekking and Climbing Course (in Ecuador): 10 days Learn how to endure your body and mind, basic camping technics, basic field walking and climbing technics on rock, snow and ice fields. Basic rescue technics, the mountain dangers, equipment. Trek Yanahurcu de Pinan and climb Mount Yanahurcu (4535 m), climb Sincholagua Volcano (4898 m) and North Illiniza (5116). -Advanced Climbing Course (in Ecuador): 1 week Learn advanced climbing technics on rock, snow and ice. Advanced rescue technics. Avalanche danger. Climb Cayambe (5790m) and Cotopaxi (5897m) volcanoes. 3 day optional extension to climb Mount Chimborazo (6310 m). -Practical Climbing Course in Peru. Climb Mount Pisco (5752)and Mount Chopicalqui (6345 m). 10 days expedition starting from Huaraz. -Practical Climbing Course in Bolivia. Climb Tarija (5200m), Pequeno Alpamayo (5350m) and Condoriri (5700m). 10 days expedition starting from La Paz. |
