| Touring on the Salar de Uyuni and South Lipez Desert The Bolivia Uyuni Salt Desert (known in Bolivia as El Salar de Uyuni) is one of the spectaculars landscapes in the world. A magnificent area with an impressive Salt Desert, landscapes and high steep volcanos. Our 8 days overland tour will take you to enjoy the view of a dramatic landscape with an amazing and impressive flora and fauna. Our tour will also take us to visit the beautiful colonial cities of Potosi and Sucre . Our Bolivia Uyuni Salt Desert (Salar de Uyuni) Tour Program: Day 1: From the city of La Paz by bus travel to Oruro and from here by train, travel to Uyuni, a small city located on the edge of the Salar de Uyuni. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Day 2: From Uyuni we start our tour visiting first visiting the train cemetery and then driving south towards Mallku village. On the way visit San Cristobal and the Stone Town. Basic hotel accommodations. Day 3: From Mallku we drive towards Laguna Colorada where we can observe pink flamingoes. Continuing our tour we will visit to the volcanic area of the geysers known as Sol de Manana. Later on drive to visit Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca. Basic Lodge accommodations at Laguna Colorada. Day 4: Morning drive north towards Agencha village on the way visiting Arbol de Piedra and Lagunas Hedionda, Ramadita and Canapas. Visit Pueblo Refugio. Overnight in a basic lodge. Day 5: From Agencha we start our drive crossing the beautiful and impressive Salar de Uyuni. Visit Galaxi Cave and then we continue to Isla Incahuasi. Later on visit Colchan town and then transport to the city of Uyuni. Hotel accommodations. Day 6: After breakfast from Uyuni transport to the city of Potosi. Afternoon visit to this interesting colonial mining town. Hotel accommodations. Day 7: Morning visit to the famous mines of Potosi and in the afternoon transport to Sucre, a beautiful colonial city located in a warm valley at 2800m. Hotel. Day 8: Morning city tour and in the afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight back to La Paz. End of our services. Included: all transfers, transportation with 4x4 vehicles, profesional local guide, meals while on the tour, hotels and basic lodges accommodations (hotel upgrades upon on request and at an extra cost). |
