| Right now ECUADOR is considered as one of the hot-spots for whitewater rafting in the world. Our Ecuador Rafting trips will take you first to enjoy the excitement of 1 or 2 day tours on Blanco river and Toachi river. These are a fantastic introduction to the rivers of Ecuador. Flowing off the coastal side of the Andes they have some of the longest navigable sections of whitewater in the country. Then we take you to share on one of the best kept river secrets in the world, the Upano river, for a tour up to 5 or 8 days. The Quijos is set to become Ecuador´s premier whitewater trip with mile after mile of class IV-IV+ rapids together with a spectacular jungle scenery (over 50km ˇ). |
Blanco or Toachi Rivers. 1 day tour: Starting from Quito City a 3 hours drive will take us down to the west side of the Andean range of Ecuador. Blanco river and Toachi river are tropical rivers with warm waters, excellent to enjoy a great 3 hours rafting experience. At the end of the trip a hearty lunch and drinks are offered. | Quijos River. 2 day tour: This tour requieres certain experience. The Quijos River is one of the best rafting alternatives we find near to Quito city. It offers great rainforest landscapes and exciting II, III, IV and IV+ rapids on tropical waters. Overnight accommodation in a hotel in Baeza town. Departures: any time with min 4 participants. Season: October to February |
| Upano River. 5 or 8 day tours: East of Ecuador on the upper basin of the Amazon Rainforest is located the Upano River, an affluent of the great Amazonas River. Our tour starts with a 45 minutes flight to Macas town and from there we will enjoy one of the most exciting rafting experiences in the world: rafting along the Upano river, entering the beautiful and impressive Namangoza gorge with the spectacle of waterfalls cascading from the lip of the gorge. And experience the encounters with Indigenous communities and the many moods and changing character of a jungle river. Without doubt one of the greatest rafting tours in the world. Rapid class: II, III, IV, IV+. Departures: every Monday with min 4 participants Season: October to February |
Kayaking Courses: Introductory course 2 days: Learn basic padling technics, river safety and introduction to river running skills. Learn to Kayak Course. 5 days: paddling technics, river safety, river running skills, reading white water, skimo roll. |
