Andes Adventures is a South American tour operator offering quality trekking, climbing, and whitewater rafting tours. It is a legaly stablished company with own operation offices in Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. It was founded in 1988 by Hugo Torres, a well known Ecuadorian climber and explorer who has been trekking, climbing, and exploring the beautiful Andean regions since 38 years ago. He climbed extensively in Europe and is actually conducting trekking expeditions to the Himalayas as well. He was trained in USA and Europe and is an active member of the Italian Alpine Club and of the Ecuadorian Mountain Guides Association (ASEGUIM - he is a co-founder). Andes Adventures accounts with an outstanding record of well organized quality adventure trips and expeditions. It uses only local, friendly, professional guides who speak english, french, and german. Many of them are also versed on the local quechua lenguage. It accounts with top-of-the-line equipment and first class transportation. Our operations are organized directly from our own offices in Quito-Ecuador, Lima and Cusco in Peru, and La Paz in Bolivia.
